Applying for a Bursary
Applying for a bursary to pursue coaching or officiating qualifications in netball offers numerous benefits that extend beyond personal growth. Firstly, enhanced qualifications could enable you to develop a deeper understanding of the game, allowing you to better train and mentor players, ultimately improving their skills and performance. Additionally, gaining recognised certifications would increase your credibility within the sport, helping to promote a culture of excellence and professionalism. Financial support from the bursary help towards course fees, making it easier for you to invest time and energy into your development.
Ultimately, this opportunity could not only enrich your own journey but also contribute to the broader netball community by fostering a new generation of players and officials who are well-equipped to succeed.
The aim of the bursary scheme is to assist with the increasing need for netball coaches and umpires at all levels and environments within Wiltshire. The bursary has been set up for members to have access to gaining and improving coaching skills and umpiring qualifications in line with England Netball coaching and officiating qualifications.
